Masriera Art Nouveau Exhibit & Sale
Copeland Jewelers proudly announces our latest Masriera event, Saturday Oct. 6, 10AM-6PM.
Luis Masriera from Barcelona, Spain was one of the most celebrated jewelers of the Art Nouveau and Deco periods. Luckily for all of us, he had the forethought to use a new technology involving steel molds to cast the Masriera creations. Today, Masriera's artisans still produce the original designs from the original molds that Luis created 100 years ago making Masriera the longest continually produced line of jewelry in the world. Each jeweler is required to complete an 8-year apprenticeship before producing a Masriera jewel.
Worn by royalty, coveted by museums and collectors since 1839.

Copeland Jewelers, Austin’s leading custom & unique jeweler, is hosting the Masriera Art Nouveau/Deco Exhibit & Sale to feature more than 200 pieces of the world-renowned jewelry collection Saturday, October 6th, 10AM-6PM.
Established in 1839 in Barcelona, Spain, the Masriera Collection is viewed as the most important collection of Art Nouveau & Deco jewelry in the world. Each jewel of the Winged nymphs, floral motifs, insects and dragonflies is handmade with fired enamel and from the same molds Lluis Masriera created more than a hundred years ago. Masriera pieces are and have been exhibited in some of the most important museums in the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
